Troop Support launches revamped Combined Federal Campaign

PHILADELPHIA — Among the changes for the workplace charity campaign: a new online donation portal, but no more fundraisers. There are 10,000 charities that employees can choose to donate to.

DLA celebrates exceeding CFC goal at awards ceremony

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Workers and contributors to the Defense Logistics Agency’s 2016 Combined Federal Campaign celebrated surpassing the organization’s donation goal during an awards ceremony in the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Feb. 9.

Pentagon gives DLA awards for CFC efforts

The Defense Logistics Agency was honored at a Pentagon ceremony Jan. 26, for exceeding its 2016 Combined Federal Campaign goal. DLA also won the award for Best Overall Communications Program for medium-sized organizations.

Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna car show supports Central PA CFC

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Showing off the best cars and vehicle projects was the goal of this year’s Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna Car Show on October 28, benefiting the Central Pennsylvania Combined Federal Campaign.

Since the official kick-off for the Combined Federal Campaign on Oct. 3, the Defense Logistics Agency has reached more than 30 percent of its fundraising goal of $315,000.

CFC fundraising drive off to strong start for DLA Headquarters, DLA Energy

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — DLA organizations in the Washington, D.C., area are outpacing the rest of the Defense Department in the annual Combined Federal Campaign.

Army Lt. Col. Paul McCullough, a special projects officer in DLA Troop Support Construction and Equipment, shares his family’s various bouts with life-threatening illnesses and with the assistance they received through CFC charities. DLA Troop Support employees donated more than $136,000 to CFC in 2015.

Employees ‘show some love’ during CFC kickoff event

PHILADELPHIA — A survivor of domestic violence shared how a local charity helped her during DLA Troop Support’s Combined Federal Campaign kickoff event Oct. 13. CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign and DLA Troop Support employees donated more than $136,000 through CFC last year.
