Resiliency helps wounded warrior return to workforce

Retired Army Capt. Santiago “Angel” Rodriguez was a lunchtime speaker at the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Senior Leadership Conference held March 1-3 in Richmond, Virginia. He spoke about his military deployments, multiple injuries he sustained; and how practicing resiliency techniques enabled him work at DLA.

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna recently hosted a force protection lecture series which highlighted active shooter response teams, featuring guest speaker Derrick Boucher, FBI supervisory special agent-in-charge of the Philadelphia Division’s Harrisburg field office.

Blast from the Past: Distribution’s first commander returns

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — It’s been nearly two decades since United States Army Ret. Major General Kenneth L. Privratsky took the reins as the first commander of DLA Distribution, then known as Defense Distribution Center. But the legacy he left behind in his two years with the organization has lived on, as he witnessed during his Mar. 17 visit.

FY2016 DLA Distribution Training Coordinators On-Site Academy

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — DLA Distribution’s Organizational Management Division together with the Material Logistics Training Division and Forward Presence Training Team presented a unique opportunity for 32 training coordinators from a majority of the 24 distribution centers to come together for an on-site academy which commenced on March 8 for three days.

DLA supervisor shares deployment experience as resiliency lesson
