DBIDS Pre-enrollment Website

RICHMOND, VA — Pre-enrollment in the Defense Biometric Identification System Version 5 is now available. DBIDS is the system DLA uses to provide visitor credentials and allows access to the installation. With the recent version 5 upgrade by the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). DMDC also added a pre-enrollment website.

Serino receives lifetime Fuelhandler Award

Troop Support employees ‘walk a mile in their shoes’ for sexual assault awareness

PHILADELPHIA — A river of teal moved across the NSA Philadelphia compound to show the unified support of tenant organizations for sexual assault awareness and prevention April 24.

Luis Pena serves as the lone full-time civil servant for the Defense Logistics Agency in Puerto Rico. He helps military units shed their excess and used equipment and gets rid of their scrap metal. Here, he evaluates the pending scrap removal demands at Camp Santiago, which was one of the island's military installations hardest hit by Hurricane Maria in 2017.

Luis Pena supports post-Maria Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, PR. — Luis Pena serves as the Defense Logistics Agency's lone civil servant in Puerto Rico. And his job - helping warfighters get rid of used equipment and scrap - got a lot more challenging after the 2017 hurricane season.

Carolyn “Kay” Lundin began her career as a GS-02, card punch operator on June 27, 1967, in Bainbridge, Maryland, and will reach 46 years of federal service later this year.

BARSTOW, Calif. — Carolyn “Kay” Lundin has reached a major career milestone: 45 years of federal service at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Barstow, California.

The results of the survey show DLA employees are overall more satisfied with their agency than are their counterparts at many other agencies.
