Galbraith, force behind critical distribution system, joins DLA Hall of Fame

One of the 2016 inductees into the DLA Hall of Fame, Kent “Rocky” Galbraith, spent 38 years with DLA, beginning as a warehouse worker at Defense Depot Ogden Utah in 1966.

In 1984, David Ennis was voted one of 10 Outstanding DLA Personnel; in 2016 he is one of seven inductees into the DLA Hall of Fame.

In 1984, David Ennis was voted one of 10 Outstanding DLA Personnel; in 2016 he is one of seven honorees to join the DLA Hall of Fame Sept. 20.

Krissie Davis, a civilian DLA employee, volunteered for service in Afghanistan and was killed at age 54 by an enemy rocket in June 2015.

Property disposal specialist killed in Bagram to be inducted into DLA Hall of Fame

Workforce gathers to observe Patriot Day

Battle Creek, Michigan — Defense Logistics Agency employees and other members of the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center workforce started their day today remembering the fifteenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept.11, 2001.

On each day leading up to the 2016 DLA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Sept. 20, dla.mil will highlight the career of one of the seven new honorees. Today's feature explores the achievements of Celia Adolphi, who served as the first civilian deputy director of the Defense Logistics Agency’s Joint Reserve Force and was first woman in the Army Reserve to attain the rank of major general.

DLA Pacific welcomes new commander as Ellis receives accolades for job well done

Agency designates day to promote resilience

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — The Defense Logistics Agency sponsored its first Resiliency Day, emphasizing the theme, “Resiliency in Action” at the McNamara Headquarters Complex Sept. 7.

TOBYHANNA, Pennsylvania — Army Lt. Col. Jerome (Jay) Barnard assumed command of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Tobyhanna, Pa., in a ceremony on September 9. The ceremony was officiated by DLA Distribution commander Army Brig. Gen. John Laskodi.
