DLA Distribution Yokosuka, Japan provided a training engagement for 28 Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force officers on DLA business concepts and the distribution center operations during a visit to the distribution center on June 11.

U.S. Marines and Army conduct fuel experiment during RIMPAC

During the 2018 Rim of the Pacific exercise in Hawaii, the Marine Corps continued to test their Expeditionary Mobile Fuel Additization Capability - a lightweight, portable fuel additive injector that can convert commercial grade jet fuel in to military specification fuel in a expeditionary environment. Defense Logistics Agency Energy provided fuel and training to support the exercise.

Fueling Saber Strike

Acquisition Cross Service Agreements provided reciprocal fuel support between partner nations, contracts were issued for the direct delivery of bulk fuel to the region, and DLA Energy Europe and Africa personnel were forward-deployed to ensure the warfighters had the support needed throughout the multinational training exercise, Saber Strike 2018, held in the Baltic States and Poland, June 3-15.
