Contract oversight visit brings former sailor back aboard

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Erik Rundquist, a contracting officer with Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services, recently traveled to Japan to coordinate the award of a regional hazardous materials removal contract. The trip provided Rundquist a chance to put his military service into perspective, as he once served as a U.S. Navy sailor for three years aboard USS Warrior (MCM-10) and had the opportunity to go back aboard the ship in Sasebo. Erik shared some of his personal thoughts on the visit.

DLA helps Ohio DNR equip volunteer fire departments

Army Chinooks excel in delivering excess to DLA

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Chinook helicopters airlifted excess equipment from the Army's 10th Mountain Division to DLA Disposition Services as part of a unique training exercise at Fort Drum.
