DLA Dashboard to improve readiness by giving near real-time view of service metrics, supply shortfalls

A new tool known as the Service Readiness Dashboard merges the military services’ readiness data with DLA business metrics for a near real-time view of the status of key weapon systems and platforms.

Leaders, customer reps discuss ways agency honing support at global summit

The Defense Logistics Agency hosted its annual Global Customer-Facing Summit April 18-19 for those who serve as the face of DLA to its customers. Attendees discussed ways to provide stellar customer service and networked with peers from around the world.

First-timers experience meals, ready to be eaten

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — A handful of 'diners' were granted access to an exclusive pop-up restaurant of sorts, promising meals, ready to eat, during its only lunch seating at the Defense Logistics Agency headquarters April 4. The concept? Giving those who serve the warfighter an opportunity to lunch and learn, with a taste of the military field rations troops consume.

DLA Customer Interaction Center builds relationships via customer support

The DLA Customer Interaction Center is many customers’ first-contact resolution center, with personnel available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.
