Hawaii Sailor recognized for outstanding volunteer service

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii — A Defense Logistics Agency Sailor assigned to Land and Maritime’s Pearl Harbor detachment has received the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal for her volunteer service from February 2013 through April 2018.

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii — Navy Logistics Specialist 1st Class (Surface Warfare) Alvaro Gonzalez reenlisted April 2 during a ceremony aboard the USS Missouri in front of the imposing third turret. His family and friends were present to share the experience with him.
