49th LRS Airmen improve organization of parts

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Holloman Air Force Base website — Maintainers from the 311th and 314th Fighter Squadrons used to go back and forth from the flight line to the central warehouse to pick up parts. This helps to reduce the time it takes to pick up parts needed to make timely repairs.

Three-Airman shop keeps fuel pumping

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Holloman Air Force Base website — Tucked away in a corner of Holloman AFB is a small shop that keeps trucks moving, aircraft flying and mission critical equipment running around base. The 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron refueling maintenance shop consists of three Airmen that are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the base’s 18 refueling vehicles.
