Excess military computers donated to rural Ohio schools through DLA

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The National Trail Local School District in Paris, Ohio, is a small, rural district in a farming community where education funds are tight. Yet, thanks to the efforts of District Technology Coordinator Brian Pool, students there are thriving in the digital age with some help from Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services and DOD Computers for Learning.

Ohio schools get surplus DOD laptops

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — When students return to Minford Elementary School in Ohio this fall, they will have more than 300 new laptops thanks to Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services’ “Computers for Learning.”

Guam students receive donated laptops

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The U.S. territory’s most remote elementary recently received 50 laptops through the agency-managed Computers For Learning military equipment donation process.

School makes good use of used military computers

San Antonio, Texas — Students at the Royal Point Academy, San Antonio, Texas now have their hands on computers once used by members of the military, thanks to DLA Disposition Services and the DOD Computers for Learning program.
