CLB-15 Marines Innovate Tactical Resupply with Unmanned Aircraft in the Philippines

KAMUNING BEACH, Philippines — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Official website of the United States Marine Corps — As part of experimentation for expeditionary resupply concepts, Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, recently employed the Tactical Resupply Unmanned Aircraft System during Exercise Balikatan 24 and Archipelagic Coastal Defense Continuum in the Philippines throughout April and May 2024.

U.S. FIFTH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Dec. 22, 2017) – Marines and Sailors with USS San Diego and embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit pass boxes during a replenishment at sea. San Diego, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
