New leaders gain tips to improve emotional intelligence

RICHMOND, Va. — Leaders across the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation enterprise received practical tools to boost emotional intelligence and strengthen supervisory skills during a June 6 Supervisor Development session hosted by the Leadership Working Group.

DLA's senior leaders--including the director of the agency--recently participated in live training outlining how supervisors should respond to a report of sexual assault or sexual harassment in the workplace.

Senior leaders preview new combined SAPR/EEO training

Defense Logistics Agency senior leaders participated in the agency’s first combined sexual assault and sexual harassment training July 27. The in-person training was the first to combine these similar but distinct annual training requirements for supervisors.
