OMB: DLA Medical Surgical Prime Vendor program – ‘Best in Class’

PHILADELPHIA — “Best in Class,” a designation by the Office of Management and Budget, represents a preferred government-wide solution and provides a unique opportunity to leverage the government's buying power. And the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Medical team just earned it, again.

Five students from the University of Virginia’s Hacking for Defense course presented their recommendations from their final research project to Pentagon staff at the end of last year. The Hacking for Defense course provides university students an opportunity to work with DOD and the intelligence community to address the nation’s cybersecurity threats and security challenges.
