DLA Energy supports space missions from coast to coast

The DLA Energy Aerospace team fueled two space missions this month: the first launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, tested the U.S. Space Force Rapid Launch Capability and another from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, sent National Reconnaissance Office satellites in to orbit.

DLA Energy propels rocket with NOAA and NASA payloads

DLA Energy supported the last launch of the United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, Nov. 10. The rocket carried the NOAA Joint Polar Satellite System-2 and NASA’s Low-Earth Orbit Flight Test of Inflatable Decelerator.

Rocket lifts with DLA Energy Aerospace propellants

Three booster tanks filled with cryogenic liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen propellants supplied by DLA Energy Aerospace successfully launched a United Launch Alliance Delta IV Heavy rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, Sept. 24.

DLA Energy supports National Reconnaissance Office rocket launch

A Delta IV Heavy rocket carrying a national security payload designed, built, and operated by the National Reconnaissance Office launched from Space Launch Complex-6 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California April 26. DLA Energy supplied the liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen that powered the three United Launch Alliance rocket engines creating a combined total of more than 2.1 million pounds of thrust needed for liftoff.
