Troop Support Medical facilitates humanitarian donation to Galápagos Islands

Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support ’s Medical supply chain oversaw U.S. Southern Command’s donation of two medical trauma containerized modular clinic to Ecuador's Galápagos Archipelago, specifically for the islands of Isabela and Floreana, this summer.

DLA, SOUTHCOM partnership provides humanitarian support for COVID-19 relief

The Defense Logistics Agency partnered with the U.S. Southern Command to deliver $1.3 million worth of life-saving pharmaceuticals to the Paraguay Ministry of Health for urgent treatment of intensive care patients with COVID-19. “This effort represents a whole-of-government approach [including] the Department of State, USSOUTHCOM, and DLA to strengthen partnerships and counter threats in our shared neighborhood,” SOUTHCOM Director of Logistics Marine Col. David Gibbs said.
