DLA explores increased use of emerging technology tool to improve daily operations

During a pilot program, the Defense Logistics Agency used a process mining tool to evaluate ways to improve its order-to-cash process, which includes the steps from when DLA receives an order to when a customer receives material. The agency is looking to expand the tool to analyze other business processes.

Tech incubator helps DLA further innovation efforts

ARLINGTON, Va. — The Defense Logistics Agency’s Research and Development Technology Accelerator Team hosted the agency’s third Innovation Navigators Course Feb. 6-9 in Arlington, Virginia. The group of 21 leaders from across the enterprise formed a cohort focused on creating change and operationalizing innovation.
