Joint Petroleum Course at Fort Lee unites military branches in fuel logistics

FORT Lee, Va. — The Joint Petroleum Course at Fort Lee serves as the War Department’s central hub for fuel logistics operations. Established through a 2022 agreement between Defense Logistics Agency Energy and the Petroleum and Water Executive Development program, the course highlights ongoing collaboration among the Army, Navy and Marine Corps to ensure energy lethality.

Defense Logistics Agency Energy hosts its annual Joint Petroleum Week

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The Defense Logistics Agency Energy hosted the annual Joint Petroleum Week from Feb. 23-27, 2026, at the DLA McNamara Headquarters Complex, bringing together hundreds of military fuel experts from across the Department of War. The week began with two days of classified briefings, followed by the Joint Petroleum Seminar, and concluded with two classified governance meetings.
