New procurement technical assistance center to help Mariana Island businesses grow

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands has a new Procurement Technical Assistance Center to help businesses compete for and perform contracts with the Defense Department.

Procurement assistance centers help small-business owners, government buyers

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — The Procurement Technical Assistance Program, created in 1985 to increase the number of small businesses capable of participating in government contracts, is administered by the Defense Logistics Agency’s Office of Small Business Programs, with centers in Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam and all 50 states.
