Master Naturalists visit DSCR for elk and environmental tour

RICHMOND, Va. — From elk roaming open fields to pollinators buzzing around wildflowers, the Virginia Master Naturalists got a front-row seat to see how Defense Supply Center Richmond doubles as a conservation classroom during a Sept. 5 tour that drew more than 15 members eager to learn about the Bellwood elk herd, wildlife habitats and prairie restoration efforts.
