U.S. supports Romanian air force in first-ever KC-135 refueling mission

RAF MILDENHALL, England — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Royal Air Force Mildenhall website — The U.S. Air Force and Romanian air force made their first air refueling contact Feb. 28, 2017, over Romania. With the help of the U.S. Air Force 100th Air Refueling Wing and one of their KC-135 Stratotankers, the RoAF became certified to refuel from all U.S. KC-135s, strengthening their partnerships and regional stability.

Iowa air refueling wing supports NATO

NATO AIR BASE GEILENKIRCHEN, Germany (AFNS) — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Air Force website — This month, members of the Iowa Air National Guard's 185th Air Refueling Wing based in Sioux City, Iowa, are refueling NATO Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft while assigned to NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen, Germany.

U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Eric Jones, boom operator assigned to the 134th Air Refueling Wing, Tennessee Air National Guard, refuels 13th and 14th Fighter Squadron F-16 Fighting Falcon’s over Northern Japan, Jan. 18, 2017. Boom operators refuel various types of aircraft in midair, extending the amount of time spent on training or combat missions.

Tennessee Tanker Fuels Misawa Falcons

DLA expands refueling capability and Pacific resiliency
