DLA Troop Support Europe and Africa team demonstrates subsistence excellence in support of USS Hershel "Woody" Williams

PHILADELPHIA — Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Europe and Africa provided operational subsistence support to the USS Hershel “Woody” Williams from August 10 to November 1 this year. Packages were delivered during four port calls in Accra, Ghana; Bradbury, Angola; Cape Town, South Africa; and Cotati, Seychelles.

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Navy Rear Adm. Deborah Haven will retire Sept. 6 with 32 years of service as a reservist. She joined the Navy after falling in love with logistics in college, wanting to be part of the military’s vast, global mission.

Butler embraces sea change in joint reserve force

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Navy Master Chief Petty Officer James Butler will replace Navy Command Master Chief Bill Sherman as senior enlisted leader in the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Reserve Force April 1.

DLA Reservists go to Poland for Saber Strike 18

POWIDZ AIR BASE, Poland — Thirty one Defense Logistics Agency Reserve Sailors from Distribution Depot Norfolk, Va. and Distribution Depot Susquehanna, Pa. were sent to Poland May 3- June 21 to support and participate in Saber Strike 18.
