5K supports breast cancer awareness at DSCC

COLUMBUS, Ohio — DLA Land and Maritime Commander Navy Rear Adm. Michelle Skubic sounds the horn to officially start the Breast Cancer Awareness Month 5K race at DSCC.

Mary Mahey, contracting officer with DLA Land and Maritime at Mechanicsburg, Pa., receives her first chemotherapy treatment in August 2016. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2016.

Mary Mahey: A DLA employee's journey with breast cancer

MECHANICSBURG, Pennsylvania — When Mary Mahey, contracting officer with DLA Land and Maritime at Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, first received the news, she was in total shock and disbelief. She had never had any serious illnesses.

SAN ANTONIO — To help bring awareness to breast cancer, Defense Logistics Agency Energy Aerospace Energy Supplier division employees held an event Oct. 22.
