Beware of criminals impersonating IRS, Treasury employees in email, phone calls

Criminals are using telephone and email scams to pose as IRS employees and solicit money from taxpayers, including government employees. Knowing how these criminals present themselves and how you should respond if you receive a suspicious call will help you protect yourself.
