$48 million collected from international fuel exchanges

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — More than $48 million will be added to the DOD Working Capital Fund after a DLA Finance Energy team settled several fuel direct bill and FEA invoices with international partners at the DLA Energy Fuels Exchange Agreements Forum in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, Sept. 20-22.

New Romanian fuel agreement strengthens military cooperation

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Improving interoperability between military forces across the world, DLA Energy signed a new Fuel Implementing Arrangement with Romania Jan. 19. This first-ever fuel agreement with Romania establishes the terms and conditions for reciprocal fuel sales and purchases between U.S. Defense Department and Romania Ministry of National Defence forces.

Powering partnerships: Singapore tankers boost Coalition forces, bring fuel to fight

AL UDEID AIR BASE, Qatar — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Air Combat Command website — This year alone, Coalition air refuelers have already flown more than 5,000 separate in-flight refueling sorties, refueling more than 28,000 aircraft while providing air support to Operation Inherent Resolve.

U.S. supports Romanian air force in first-ever KC-135 refueling mission

RAF MILDENHALL, England — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Royal Air Force Mildenhall website — The U.S. Air Force and Romanian air force made their first air refueling contact Feb. 28, 2017, over Romania. With the help of the U.S. Air Force 100th Air Refueling Wing and one of their KC-135 Stratotankers, the RoAF became certified to refuel from all U.S. KC-135s, strengthening their partnerships and regional stability.
