NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Fillmore U.S. Army Health Clinic staff at Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna, provided over 3,500 Moderna Covid-19 vaccines to over 1,600 installation employees assigned to New Cumberland and Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg tenant organizations Jan. 7 – May 7.

The highlight of this year’s COOPEX was a successful VTC, made possible by the J6 enterprise personnel working with the PA National Guard Joint Force Headquarters J6.

DLA Distribution practices the Continuity of Operations Plan

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pennsylvania — In keeping with the efforts to strengthen preparedness capabilities, the Continuity of Operations planners of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution recently took the Emergency Relocation Group to an alternate work site. Federal Continuity Directive 1, dated October 26, 2012, governs the COOP program, and training visits to alternate work sites are one of its annual requirements. It states there are four pillars of continuity capabilities: leadership, staff, communication and facilities.

When DLA Distribution’s Army Reserve Element team leader and Joint Reserve Task Force commander Col. Ronnie Davis asked for civilian volunteers for an Army Reserve mission he was coordinating, Danielle Oehm says she was surprised no hands went up.
