Taking the leap toward readiness: DLA Distribution Susquehanna riggers reclaim critical airborne skills

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. — Army parachute riggers assigned to Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, hit a major milestone in restoring their organic airborne capabilities by executing a jump training evolution Feb. 24 at Fort Indiantown Gap.

Former retail leader teaches lessons in supply chain management

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — During an Oct. 30 professional-development session on supply-chain management at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Defense Logistics Agency Director Army Lt. Gen. Darrell Williams hosted Chris Sultemeier, former president and CEO of Walmart Transportation and later, executive vice president of logistics for Walmart Stores. Sultemeier relayed stories and advice from his 30-year career spanning military service and the private sector to leaders of DLA headquarters organizations and major subordinate commands.
