New leader takes charge of DLA activity at Warner Robins

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. — The team from Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Warner Robins welcomed their new leader during a change of command ceremony June 28 at the Museum of Aviation here on base. Air Force Brig. Gen. Sean Tyler, DLA Aviation commander, officiated the transfer of authority to Air Force Col. Craig Giles from Air Force Col. Brian Mayer, who celebrated his retirement during an immediately following ceremony.

Team DLA averages two hour delivery time for crucial Air Force parts

HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. — In early March, Robins Air Force Base began to send high risk personnel home to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. By the end of the month the base had emptied to critical personnel.
