COLUMBUS, Ohio — DSCC highlights a few of our EMTs and paramedics as a part of National EMS Week (May 21 - 27) as a way to thank the DSCC EMS team for answering the call and providing quality care to our associates in their time of need. This year's theme: "EMS Strong: Always in Service," a reminder of how committed EMTs and paramedics are to the tough work that requires passion, purpose and heart to carry out well every day, often in difficult circumstances.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week.

Denim Day at DSCC

COLUMBUS, Ohio — DSCC workforce is Going the Distance on Denim Day to raise awareness against Sexual Assault. DLA is helping to spread the word across the DLA enterprise about the SAPR program and resources, but most important, participation in this month's events such as Denim Day and Teal Tuesdays show support for survivors during Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.

Walk-a-Lap for a Survivor

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Thank you to all the associates and service members that came out to show your support and raise awareness about the serious causes and effects of sexual assault.

Defense Supply Center Columbus hosted an information fair to kick off Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. DLA Land and Maritime sexual assault response coordinator Shari Murnahan helped organize the April 5 event to promote activities taking place during the month at DSCC.

DSCC police reunite missing man with family

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Supply Center Columbus police responded to a call at the Yearling Road Gate Jan. 18 after a disoriented, elderly man walked onto the installation trying to get to his father’s house.
