Parents receive preparedness information

Defense Supply Center Columbus’ Installation Emergency Manager Jayce Ashwill speaks with Stacy Son about National Preparedness Month while providing Isaiah and his sister Hannah a safety themed coloring book. The Sept. 26 Child Development Center informational booth was part of a series of informational booths held around the installation in September to raise awareness about being prepared for emergencies.

Local county emergency alert - Information on how to sign up

As part of National Preparedness Month, all personnel are encouraged to sign up for Local County Alerts for the county they reside and work. These systems are used to alert users of a terrorist situation, an emergency in a suburb, weather alerts or any emergency. Links to Franklin and surrounding counties to sign-up to receive alerts are listed below.
