Volunteers are needed to conduct interviews for the annual Workforce Recruitment Program that places prescreened college students and recent graduates with disabilities in 14-week internships at federal agencies.

DLA’s Joint Contingency Acquisition Support Office is recruiting members for its Expeditionary Contracting Cadre to assist military and civilian customers around the world. Expeditionary contracting officers wanted

The Defense Logistics Agency relies heavily on those in the contracting series to provide acquisition services and contract support to assist the agency’s military and civilian partners around the world. To meet its goal of 40 qualified contracting officers, the Joint Contingency Acquisition Support Office is recruiting members for its Expeditionary Contracting Cadre.

Elementary school tutoring program comes to bittersweet close

PHILADAELPHIA — Tutors and students marked the end of this year’s Project G.I.V.E. iteration June 12. Approximately 25 DLA Troop Support employees served as volunteer tutors in reading and math to students at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School this year.

Call for volunteers to deploy with FEMA taskforce attracts over 130 DLA employees

Over 130 employees volunteered for ten assignment opportunities to support hurricane relief efforts with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and will soon deploy to Texas, Florida, the U.S. Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico.
