Buddy Hopkins, chief, Army Customer Facing Division, Customer Operations Directorate, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, along with several members of his division traveled to participate in AMCOM 101, an annual event hosted by the United States Army Aviation and Missile Command in Huntsville, Alabama.

Family trees planted firmly around DLA Aviation - Richmond

Richmond, Va — As I sat down to write this article, a catchy tune came to mind, Sly and the Family Stone’s “Family Affair." I started thinking about the different family tree dynamics here at Defense Logistics Agency Aviation in Richmond, Virginia. I unearthed, with the help of some who’ve been around a lot longer than this boy, during the interviewing process; husbands and wives, three generations and in-laws.

More than just the voice on a phone: Dispatchers at DSCR

The Emergency Communications Center dispatchers at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, are a team of diverse individuals with personalities that complement their duties.

Surrounded by team members, DLA Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Allan Day signs the first DLA/Navy retail supply manual on March 24, 2017 at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. The manual will lead to improved warfighter support by standardizing policies and processes at DLA Aviation industrial support activities co-located at the Navy's three fleet readiness centers at Cherry Point, North Carolina; San Diego, California and Jacksonville, Florida.
