Celebrating 60 years: DLA contributes to DOD initiatives in the 1990s

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — This is the fifth in a “Celebrating 60 years” series of seven articles highlighting DLA’s support to America’s military since the agency was created Oct. 1, 1961.

Two Mather Soil Vapor Extraction units achieve cleanup goals

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center website — The Air Force’s remediation program at the former Mather Air Force Base took another major step forward this summer when two Soil Vapor Extraction units were found to have achieved their cleanup goals.
