April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month

COLUMBUS, Ohio — DLA Land and Maritime has planned a few events to include Information Fair, Teal Tea Awareness, Walk a Lap for a Survivor and a 5K run/walk.

NSA Philadelphia tenant agencies come together for the “Walk a Mile in their Shoes” Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month event on April 24.

Troop Support employees ‘walk a mile in their shoes’ for sexual assault awareness

PHILADELPHIA — A river of teal moved across the NSA Philadelphia compound to show the unified support of tenant organizations for sexual assault awareness and prevention April 24.

NSA Philadelphia senior leaders, including DLA Troop Support Deputy Commander Richard Ellis (right of proclamation), stand together after signing the Sexual Assault Awareness Month proclamation during a ceremony April 4. There will be activities on base throughout the month to raise awareness about sexual assault.

Sexual Assault Awareness, Prevention Month begins with resource fair

Katrina Leverette, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s sexual assault response coordinator or SARC, kicked off Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month with a resource fair at the Center Restaurant April 5 on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia.
