Senior leaders preview new combined SAPR/EEO training

Defense Logistics Agency senior leaders participated in the agency’s first combined sexual assault and sexual harassment training July 27. The in-person training was the first to combine these similar but distinct annual training requirements for supervisors.

Director stresses importance of preventing, responding to sexual assault at annual workshop

The director of the Defense Logistics Agency and officials from the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office were among the guest speakers at a multiday workshop for DLA’s sexual assault response coordinators, May 8-10 at the McNamara Headquarters Complex.

Sexual assault response coordinators are available by phone every day, at any hour, to provide advocacy and crisis intervention.

Sexual assault sees zero tolerance at DLA; advocates available any hour, any day

Sexual violence is among the most serious trauma a person can experience, yet it’s one of the most underreported crimes in the workplace. The Department of Defense is striving to eliminate sexual assault and sexual harassment, among civilians and military members — and the Defense Logistics Agency is at the forefront thanks to a robust Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program.

DLA leadership has made prevention of and response to sexual assault a top priority.
