Take care of supplies, take care of people - 375th SFS Supply fuel Defenders

3rd Wing Transfers C-17 Aircraft Supply to 176th

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command website — Eight C-17 Globemaster III aircraft based at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, are quickly approaching the second anniversary of their assignment from the 3rd Wing to the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard.

Seven materiel management Airmen from Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, visited the 509th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Whiteman AFB this month as part of a two-day Airman exchange program.

509th LRS hosts Airmen exchange program

WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Whiteman Air Force Base website — Seven materiel management Airmen from Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, visited the 509th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Whiteman AFB this month as part of a two-day Airman exchange program.

A loadmaster with the 6th Airlift Squadron directs 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron personnel toward a C-17 Globemaster III, which will transport cargo and 375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron personnel to Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. to provide medical relief after Hurricane Harvey caused catastrophic floods in the states of Texas and Louisiana, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., Aug. 30, 2017. The 375th LRS loaded 6.5 tons of medical supplies onto a C-17 Globemaster III for the nine-person medical team. The 375th AES crew, prepared to provide relief for 30 days, will be staged at Little Rock Air Force Base, where they will pick up high-priority patients from George Bush Intercontinental Airport and transport them to one of seven hospital locations across the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. Aeromedical team at Scott AFB joins response to Hurricane Harvey
