Lee Barry Oppenheim was inducted into the DLA Energy Hall of Fame on March 22. He retired from DLA Energy in 2018 as the Quality Technical deputy director with a distinguished 42-year federal career – all of which was spent with DLA.

Continuing the tradition of honoring employees who have made long-lasting contributions to supplying fuel to the warfighter, Michael Broderick was inducted into the 2020 DLA Energy Hall of Fame on March 22.

New Logistics Fuel Card offers flexibility, speed

A new Logistics Fuel Card will allow military and federal agencies to buy small quantities of specialty fuel this spring. To improve customer service and provide more flexibility, DLA added the card to its commercial fuel card solutions so customers can fill storage tanks from commercial sources worldwide when short-notice requirements arise.
