CYPRESS, Cali. — DLA Energy Americas West bid farewell to Navy Cmdr. Frank Kim during a change of command ceremony at the Navy Golf Course in Cypress, California, June 13. The incoming commander, Navy Cmdr. Anas Maazouzi, was a previous operations officer and military deputy director at DLA Land and Maritime.

DSCC fuel point project to provide long-term solution for aging tanks

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three 10,000-gallon fuel tanks were installed at Defense Supply Center Columbus June 1, marking the beginning of a long-term project at the installation’s fuel point to replace aging underground fuel storage tanks with above-ground tanks.

The new DLA Energy Electronic Point of Sale system is a state-of-the-art technology integrated into DLA business systems. EPoS replaces the existing Automated Fuel Service Station system with a more secure automated system that reduces paper documents and rework of transactions.
