Former Army food advisor earns DLA Troop Support Employee of the Year

PHILADELPHIA — The 2017 DLA Troop Support Employee of the Year was a DLA customer when he served in uniform as an Army food advisor. Anthony Britt now advocates on behalf of DLA’s customers while sporting his civilian attire.

Subsistence engages industry partners about ingredient restriction process

PHILADELPHIA — The event was held to increase industry’s understanding of the process involved in defining the services’ nutritional requirements and the rules and regulations DLA follows when buying on the warfighters’ behalf.

DLA Troop Support Clothing and Textiles’ Type III Navy Working Uniform Planning Team won DLA’s Team of the Year Award for their support of the Navy’s latest utility uniform transition. The cross-functional team met weekly to meet the Navy’s requirements, including an accelerated timeline and 400 distinct items encompassing varying sizes of five uniform items.
