DLA Energy Aerospace Energy visits Matheson, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Energy Aerospace Energy supports more than 200 United States Air Force and Navy customers with their aviator’s breathing oxygen and liquid nitrogen requirements. In April, members of the Customer Operations and Supplier Operations divisions visited the Matheson Air Separation Unit facility and Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland to see firsthand how they support the warfighter.

HOUSTON, Texas — More than 20 Defense Logistics Agency Energy Americas quality assurance representatives met for a two-week training workshop in Houston, Texas, April 23 through May 4.

Randall “Adam” Bethke, a retired Army chief warrant officer, was the keynote speaker during the Philadelphia Compound Veterans annual Memorial Day observance, May 24. Bethke spoke about the importance that Memorial Day had for his father, a Vietnam veteran who lost friends during the war. The personal connection to Memorial Day deepened when Bethke joined the Army and lost friends of his own in the Global War on Terror.
