USAF begins new Egyptian F110 upgrade program

A big step forward to modernize the Egyptian Air Force F-16 “Fighting Falcon” fleet will take place July 25th in San Antonio, Texas. United States Air Force contracting, through Defense Logistics Agency-Aviation’s Strategic Acquisition Program, has awarded an Egyptian long-term F110 propulsion sustainment contract to GE Aviation. The ceremony will recognize the enterprise collaboration with a focus on Egyptian F-16 mission readiness.

German national recognized for 35 years of service

Wolfgang Leis, a host nation employee, was recognized for his 35 years of service during a ceremony at the Ramstein Air Base, Germany, June 27. The Length of Service Award Presentation ceremony recognizes all host nation employees who have continuously served the U.S. Armed Forces for greater than 20 years.
