Scrap handler hits the road for Camp Kinser

Okinawa, Japan — The scrap operations personnel at the DLA Disposition Services site at Okinawa, Japan, have some new help thanks to a late night road trip from Naha.

The Fort Polk Garrison Commander and Louisiana Congressional representatives attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for two newly constructed Wastewater Treatment Plants at Fort Polk, Louisiana, May 24. DLA Energy Utility Services provided the contract for the two WWTPs that will treat 6.4 million gallons of wastewater per day. This project will improve Fort Polk’s mission assurance and have a positive environmental impact for more than 50 years.

DLA Energy brings first large-scale hybrid solar, wind renewable project to Fort Hood

FORT HOOD, Texas — Defense Logistics Agency Energy Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Martin Chapin attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony with other senior officials for the first large-scale renewable energy solar and wind project at Fort Hood, Texas, June 2.
