Mission Complete: DFSP San Pedro closes last tank

SAN PEDRO, California — Tank 17, the last tank to be filled with foam crete and solidify, marks the milestone closure of 27 underground tanks at the U.S. Navy owned Defense Fuel Support Point in San Pedro, California, July 20.

FORT LEE, Virginia — Former Defense Logistics Agency Energy Middle East Commander retired Army Col. Greg Gibbons was inducted into the U.S. Army Quartermaster Hall of Fame at Fort Lee, Virginia, July 11.

DLA Energy Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Martin Chapin announces the former employees to be inducted into the Energy Hall of Fame for 2017. The ceremony will be held at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Sept. 28.

Former employees selected for 2017 DLA Energy Hall of Fame

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Four former Defense Logistics Agency Energy employees are selected to be inducted into the Energy Hall of Fame at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Sept. 28.

The Defense Logistics Agency Energy Americas at Houston held a change of command ceremony to welcome its new commander, Army Lt. Col. Josielyn Carrasquillo.
