DLA closes out fiscal 2020 with strong small business partnership

FORT BELOVIR, Va. — The Defense Logistics Agency exceeded its small business contracting goal for the eighth consecutive year by awarding more than 40% of its annual contract dollars to small businesses. Fiscal 2020 also marked the third year in a row that DLA exceeded $15 billion in contract awards to small businesses.

DLA historian chronicles agency’s early COVID-19 response

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Contracting expertise, on-hand supplies and crisis-management strengths enabled DLA to quickly aid the nation’s pandemic response, according to a 41-page historical account titled “Combating the Coronavirus: DLA Efforts to Defeat COVID-19.”
