Agency adjusted support, provided global capabilities during Vietnam War

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Though once restricted to wholesale logistics in the continental United States, DLA proved during the Vietnam War it could supply warfighters in foreign lands.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — An excess military tanker truck repurposed by the Nebraska Forest Service for firefighting was recently pressed into service as an ethanol hauler for hand sanitizer being used by emergency managers and public schools.
