My family was having dinner on a Monday night when my phone rang. It was my best friend Shelly’s dad. Shelly was in the hospital. She was struggling through a treacherous alcohol detox. Her skin and eyes were a deep yellow. She was severely bloated, weak, confused and barely able to speak.

DLA Aviation, Air Force award contract for aircraft component support

RICHMOND, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Ogden's Strategic Contracting Division on Hill Air Force Base, Utah, jointly with the Hill Air Force Base Commodity Council, awarded a $444M performance-based logistics contract which allows Parker Aerospace to directly provide support to actuators for multiple Air Force aircrafts. Actuators help control the various aircraft hydraulic components.
