Troop Support showcases workforce talent 

PHILADELPHIA — Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support skills were on full display as six employees competed in a talent show on Sept. 21. The organization’s Culture Program and Culture Improvement Teams hosted the event to encourage employee participation in the 2023 DLA Culture Climate Survey.

Meals, ready to eat, prepare warfighters for natural disasters

PHILDELPHIA — Meals, ready to eat, provide a critical feature during disasters and unforeseen events for warfighters and other Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support customers around the globe.

A delegation from the Republic of Korea Ministry of Defense including Director of Weapon and Equipment Division Republic of Korea Armed Forces Col Yongheup Kim; Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Logistics Policy Manager; visited Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support on Sept. 21, 2023, in Philadelphia. The purpose of the visit was to provide a DLA Troop Support overview and tour of facilities to share industry practices.

Troop Support school supply drive sets students up for success

PHILADELPHIA — To ensure Philadelphia-area students start the school year with new pencils, calculators, backpacks and other items, Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support hosted the second annual Fill-A-Backpack drive. School supply items donated by employees from DLA Troop Support, DLA Information Operations, and DLA Contracting Services Office donated the school supply items that were delivered to the local charity Cradles to Crayons for distribution to area schools.
