DLA Troop Support Subsistence hosts town hall
PHILADELPHIA — Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain hosted a town hall on 14 February in Philadelphia. The Subsistence supply chain provides food support for the military all over the world. From individually packaged meals in a soldier's ruck sack, to a ship's galley and to full-service dining facilities on military installations, Subsistence gets that food there. Subsistence also supports other non-Department of Defense activities, such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the State Department, Veterans’ Homes and more.

PHILADELPHIA — Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support hosted an event in Philadelphia to invite Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support members and a few foreign officers also stationed at Naval Support Activity Philadelphia, on 10 February, to enjoy breakfast and refreshments while also engaging in conversation and collaboration amongst each other.

Subsistence Pizza Fundraiser
Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence branch’s Culture Improvement Team hosted a Subsistence Pizza Fundraiser during lunch on February 7, 2023. This event was the first since the COVID-19 pandemic and is geared towards raising funds to host future events to raise morale for the supply chains at DLA Troop Support.

PHILADELPHIA — Adam Tutolo, Construction and Equipment lead commodity support liaison, received the Employee of the Year award, while Army Maj. Jean’Shay D. Moore, C&E acquisition officer, was awarded the Field Grade Officer of the Year, and the Equal Employment Opportunity office received the Achievement in EEO by an Organization award during the DLA’s 55th Annual Employee Recognition Awards held Jan 26 at the McNamara Headquarters Complex on Fort Belvoir, Va.

Medical assists with Haiti cholera relief efforts
PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Medical supply chain procured 300,000 Oral Rehydration Salt packets last month to support Haiti’s response to a Cholera outbreak within the Caribbean nation.
