FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — DLA is celebrating 60 years of logistics support since it was created Oct. 1, 1961. The theme is “Forged by History, Focused on the Future.” In this story, we review the 76-year history of DLA Energy whose legacy started 16 years before the development of DLA.

Customer Relationship Management team launches modern service tool via ServiceNow

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — A modern platform for tracking email, phone and fax inquiries from Defense Logistics Agency customers is now live after more than a year of preparation and coordination.

Fueling DoD’s northernmost installation

PITUFFIK, Greenland — Once a year, when the weather and ice conditions allow, DLA Energy experts plan for the delivery of fuel to the Defense Department’s northernmost installation, Thule Air Base, Greenland. In late July, DLA Energy quality assurance specialists took advantage of the warmer weather to make the delivery.
