DLA Energy rocket propellant fuels NASA rover to Red Planet

Fueled by DLA Energy-supplied liquid oxygen and rocket propellant, NASA’s rover Perseverance safely touched down on Mars on Feb. 18 after a seven-month, 292-million-mile journey. Using thrusters fired with DLA Energy hydrazine, the $2.7 billion rover landed in an ancient lake bed called Jezero Crater. The Perseverance is on a two-year mission to find evidence of past life on Mars.

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Say goodbye to For Official Use Only. A Defense Logistics Agency policy published Jan. 28 by DLA Intelligence provides new guidance on labeling unclassified information that’s sensitive but doesn’t require classification.

Leading the way: Pacific Leadership Academy

HONOLULU — Two DLA Energy East Pacific employees graduated from the Pacific Leadership Academy Senior Leaders Class of 2020 in Honolulu, Jan. 29. John Reed attended the Senior Leaders program and Tony Scales attended the Emerging Leaders program.
