Fallen DLA Land and Maritime logistician honored with Army memorialization

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Future Defense Department civilian deployers will now receive vital equipment — including boots and protective gear — inside a new facility at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, dedicated to fallen Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime logistician Stephen Byus.

DLA Distribution Korea celebrates Army promotion

CAMP CARROLL, South Korea — Army Staff Sgt. Siris A. Alma was promoted to the rank of Sgt. 1st Class during a May 12 promotion ceremony on the first floor of the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Korea warehouse. DLA Distribution Korea employees and other distinguished guests attended the ceremony. Additionally, the ceremony was streamed via Microsoft Teams and Facebook Live for family, close friends0 and others to view remotely.

DLA Distribution San Joaquin adds E-ration to its distribution repertoire

TRACY, Calif. — DLA Distribution San Joaquin, California, employees started to pack, store and ship express rations in support of DLA Troop Support requirements in May 2023. E-Rations, utilized by the Marine Corps and the Army, replace the need for kitchen equipment and allow warfighters to have a hot meal in any combat or training environment.

DLA San Joaquin pays tribute to fallen officers

TRACY, Calif. — Employees of Defense Logistics Agency San Joaquin, law enforcement officers of the local community, congressional staff and local city council members paid tribute to the fallen law enforcement officers during a morning National Peace Officers’ Memorial Observance May 17 in the fire bay of the Public Safety Center.
