Leadership changes hands at DLA Distribution Sigonella, Italy

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Navy Cmdr. Benjamin “Ben” Muniz took command of Defense Logistics Agency Sigonella, Italy, from outgoing Navy Cmdr. Eugene “Geno” Dawson, during a change of command ceremony June 15. DLA Europe & Africa Commander, Col. Faith Chamberlain officiated the ceremony.

Human resources helps employees affected by retirement payment mistakes

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — More than 23,000 Defense Department employees, including 2,100 from the Defense Logistics Agency, over- or under-paid into their retirement funds.

DL Aviation Marine Aviation Wholesale Resident Course brought in 39 military and civilian individuals who are attached to or work with Marine aviation units across the country and as far away as Okinawa, Japan.

RICHMOND, Va. — The Defense Logistics Aviation Marine Aviation Wholesale Resident Course took place June 6-8 in the Frank B. Lotts Conference Center on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia.

DLA Distribution San Joaquin adds E-ration to its distribution repertoire

TRACY, Calif. — DLA Distribution San Joaquin, California, employees started to pack, store and ship express rations in support of DLA Troop Support requirements in May 2023. E-Rations, utilized by the Marine Corps and the Army, replace the need for kitchen equipment and allow warfighters to have a hot meal in any combat or training environment.
